Getting your own personal life story correct is vitally important, so at Bound Biographies we work hard to give you the best service at sensible prices.
There are two main packages available to our clients:

Meetings Approach

By far the most rewarding way of producing a biography is to work closely with a writing partner. The majority of Bound Biographies books have been written this way, and the process of meeting with someone to discuss, plan and review each chapter of the book can be immensely rewarding.

Meetings usually last from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. A writing partner will come and visit you in your own home and work through the manuscript with you in detail. Some writing partners are happy to arrange shorter, half-day meetings, priced accordingly. You can have as many or as few meetings as you require, and you are free to stop at anytime throughout the whole project. There is usually no extra cost for travel expenses.

The project fee is only payable at the end of the process when you are completely satisfied with the finished product.

The project fee includes two beautiful leather-bound copies of your book, including up to 50,000 words and ten pages of photographs. Small hardback or paperback books can be supplied instead. Extra books, words and photographs can be arranged.

All typing, proof-reading and copy-editing time is included, as is the lay-out of the text to include your photographs.

Given the individual nature of writing a personal biography, costs are tailored to each project, but most clients enjoy this meetings approach where a typical project fee is from £3,000, and meeting fees are from £300 per day.

Correspondence Approach

This method of writing can be undertaken via normal post, or by email. The price covers the cost of all the editing (proof-reading and copy-editing), collaboration with our editors and readers, and production of two leather bound volumes (of up to 50,000 words including ten pages of photographs) of your autobiography. More words and photographs can be included, and extra copies of the book can be ordered. Payments are made in instalments by agreement between Bound Biographies and the client.

Bound Biographies also offers other payment structures, depending on your requirements. If your manuscript is already written and available in typed or word-processed format, we would be happy to discuss your requirements with you. We also offer attractive prices for our smaller paperback and hardback services.
